During my Master's in Bioinformatics, I aimed to deepen my knowledge in this field, and I believe my choice has been highly appropriate since it aligns perfectly with my career aspirations. Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through extracurricular internships at Sequentia Biotech, a bioinformatics company. During my internship, I made the most of my available time—750 hours in total—to learn as much as possible. This experience significantly improved my programming skills in Bash, Python, and R. Additionally, my Master’s Thesis was conducted within the same company, which provided me with invaluable experience. The innovative nature of the project and the extensive scripting work involved greatly contributed to my professional development. In fact, I developed a pipeline using three different programming languages, which further strengthened my technical abilities. Overall, my Master's journey has been incredibly enriching, equipping me with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a career in bioinformatics. The practical exposure and programming expertise I have gained will undoubtedly be fundamental in my future endeavors.
