During my Erasmus Traineeship, I had the incredible opportunity to spend seven months in Spain, where I immersed myself in a new academic and cultural environment. This experience was instrumental in shaping my career, as it allowed me to acquire valuable technical skills and broaden my professional network.One of the most significant aspects of my traineeship was learning genetic editing techniques using CRISPR-Cas9, along with both stable and transient transformation methods. These skills have proven to be highly valuable in my research journey, providing me with a strong foundation for future scientific work.Beyond the technical knowledge, this experience was enriching on a personal and professional level. I met many people who could potentially contribute to my career in the future, expanding my network of scientific collaborators. Additionally, my time in Spain played a decisive role in my decision to pursue a Ph.D., as it reinforced my passion for research and innovation.Overall, my Erasmus Traineeship was an unforgettable experience that combined scientific growth with personal development.
